Warning! Important information about the functioning of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” in quarantine!
Due to the introduction of strict quarantine restrictions in the capital in the period from 17 to 30 April 2021, the following facilities of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” will be closed to visitors:
- objects of immovable cultural heritage located on the territory of the Conservation Area (St. Sophia Cathedral, Metropolitan’s Residence Museum, Refectory (Warm Sophia), Zaborovskyi Gate, Bakery Exhibition Halls);
- Golden Gate Museum;
- St. Cyril’s Church Museum;
- St. Andrew’s Church Museum.
The following remain open for visits:
- the territory of the Conservation Area and the Bell Tower (daily from 10:00 to 19:00, ticket office and entrance – until 18:30);
- stairs and porch of the St. Andrew’s Church Museum (Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, ticket office and entrance – until 17:30; Monday – day off).
Please do not neglect safety rules – wear personal protective equipment (masks, respirators) and keep a social distance of 1.5 m.
