The sites of the Conservation Area, that are currently open for visits, and their work schedule
Due to quarantine restrictions, access to the following sites of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” are open to visitors:
- the territory of the Conservation Area (Kyiv, Volodymyrska Street, 24). Opening hours: seven days a week from 10.00 to 20.00, Bell Tower – until 19.00 (ticket office and entrance – until 19.00);
- the objects of immovable cultural heritage located on the territory of the Conservation Area: Sophia Cathedral, “Metropolitan’s Residence” Museum, Refectory (Warm Sophia), Zaborovsky Gate, “Bakery” (Consistory) exhibition halls (Kyiv, Volodymyrska Street, 24). Opening hours: only on weekends (Saturday and Sunday);
- the stairs and the porch of St. Andrew’s Church (Kyiv, Andrew’s Descent, 23 ). Opening hours: Wednesday-Sunday from 12.00 to 20.00 (ticket office and entrance – until 19.30), Monday, Tuesday – closed;
“Golden Gate” Museum (Kyiv, Volodymyrska Street, 40a). Opening hours: seven days a week from 12.00 to 20.30 (ticket office and entrance – until 20.30).
The Conservation Area has introduced temperature screening (temperature measurement), near the ticket offices there are markings for visitors to keep the recommended distance of 1.5 m, as well as available disinfectants.
Persons with symptoms of respiratory disease and persons without personal protective equipment (protective masks, respirators, rubber gloves) are not allowed to enter these sites.
