The first meeting of the Scientific and Restoration Council of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” took place in 2021!

On January 26, 2021, a meeting of the Scientific and Restoration Council of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” took place, at which the following units of storage of repository materials were adopted after restoration works:

• the “Glass” group: glass bottle (fragmented, late 17^th-18^th centuries), bottle (fragmented, late 17^th-18^th centuries), glass jar (fragmented, late 17^th-18^th centuries) etc;
• the “Archaeological ceramics” group: deep plate, faience, with relief, with printed floral ornaments; marking: embossing in mass, underglaze – “Kuznetsov Factory in Budy”, 19^th century, small faience plate, with a printed solid pattern of blue color, with the image of birch, bindweed and sunflower; marking: embossing in mass – in Latin letters SPODE, 28 (English), 19^th century, etc.
• the “Architectural and decorative ceramics” group: tile-completion fragmented (flower-fountain); tile-completion fragmented (cross-cartouche) etc.
