The first in this year meeting of the Scientific and Restoration Council of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” was held

At a meeting chaired by the head of the conservation areas’ scientific and restoration workshop, artist-restorer of the highest qualification category, Honored Artist of Ukraine Anatolii Ostapchuk, members of the council accepted the restoration and installation in the Consistory the monumental ceramic panel by Halyna Sevruk – “City on Seven Hills” (1986). The works on the restoration of four storage units of objects of the fund, five storage units of the “Architectural graphics” fund group were approved, and the methods of restoration of another eight storage units from the same group were approved.

The program of restoration of objects from the exposition of the “Metropolitan’s Residence” museum and ceramics from the funds of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” was also approved.
