Results of the meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture

On December 27, 2019, at the meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the scientific-draft documentation on defining the boundaries and regimes of use of the buffer zone of the World Heritage Site «Kyiv: St. Sophia Cathedral and Related Monastic Buildings, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra» was considered. Ordering customer – National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv”, National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve, developer – Ukrainian State Research and Design Institute «UkrNDIproektrestavratsija».

In accordance with the decision of the Scientific and Methodological Council the scientific project documentation on defining the boundaries was recommended for approval, the regimes were sent for revision.
