Preserve and use effectively

There are 20 buildings on the territory of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv”, including 10 monuments of national significance, 2 monuments of local significance. From that day on, one of the objects, which is not a monument and was built in 1967, will undergo a comprehensive reconstruction. It will be held by the end of 2021 and we will receive an updated functional building.

As a result of the reconstruction, we will have a modern restroom, adapted to the needs of low-mobility groups, equipped room for mother and child, a cloakroom will be opened, which can be used by tourists for free.

Project documentation and all future works are approved in accordance with current legislation, notice of commencement of construction works issued by the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control of Kyiv of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) executive body.
