Personal greetings are being collected: wishes from all over the world will be broadcast at the Bell Tower of Sophia of Kyiv!

National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” together with Visa and CULTURAL, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES LLC organized a festive project “Greetings from Everywhere” in which during the New Year holidays, an interactive laser projection will work on Sophiiska Square in Kyiv, which allows you to greet relatives and friends, a specific person or an entire country from anywhere in the world.

“Greetings from everywhere” is more than New Year’s entertainment and a translator of wishes. In an effort to congratulate Ukraine, we seem to gather in one place thousands of people living not only in different parts of our country, but all over the world. And the place of laser projection is more important than ever, because the authors of the greetings will pay attention to our common cultural and historical heritage, feel the connection that unites Ukrainians, wherever they are now, “- said the Director General of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” Nelia Kukovalska.

The laser projection will run from December 19 to January 7 from 16:00 to 21:00 at the Bell Tower of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” on the side of Sophiiska Square. In order for your greeting to appear on the main New Year’s Square of Ukraine, you need to take three steps:

1) fill out the application on the site happynewyear.com.ua;

2) wait until the greeting passes the test;

3) receive a message with the exact time when the greeting will appear over Sophiiska Square.

“We created this project so that despite any circumstances and difficulties, you can congratulate those you love: your loved ones, friends, colleagues and Ukraine. We will not only bring numerous congratulations to the Bell Tower of St. Sophia Cathedral, but we will also broadcast this action live on the project website so that as many people as possible can move to the main New Year’s Square,” said Vira Platonova, senior vice president of Visa in Ukraine, Georgia and CIS countries and South-Eastern Europe.

There will be online broadcasts of greetings on the project website, and a special camera will record the moment of your greeting and send it to the specified e-mail. The photo can be used as an original postcard to greet loved ones.

Also from December 19 on the project website you can watch New Year’s squares around the world. Live broadcasts will take place from New York, London, Brussels, Prague and other cities.
