Minister of Culture of France Rima Abdul-Malak visited St. Sophia of Kyiv

At the invitation of the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko, the Minister of Culture of France Rima Abdul-Malak visited Ukraine for the first time.

During the visit, the ministers, together with the members of the French delegation – the director of the Louvre Laurence de Cars, the adviser on cinematography and European and international affairs Mathieu Fournet, the executive director of the ALIPH Foundation Valéry Freeland and the world-famous French actresses Carole Bouquet and Anaïs Demoustier – visited the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv”.

And in memory of the visit, the First Deputy General Director of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” Vadym Kyrylenko presented the high-ranking French guest with a facsimile edition of the Rheims Gospel and offered to represent in Ukraine the original kept in France.
