FIFTEEN YEARS PROJECT!

On May 28, the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” will host a presentation of a multi-volume scientific publication by Doctor of Historical Sciences Viacheslav Korniienko “The Graffiti Collection of St. Sophia of Kyiv”, the last, tenth, part of which was published in 2020.

During the presentation you will be able not only to turn the pages of books – the results of fifteen years of research, but also to communicate directly with the author and other project participants, learn what you will not read in these books – how the idea of ​​publishing a full graffiti collection of St. Sophia of Kyiv appeared, from which inscription large-scale researches of epigraphic monuments of the cathedral began, how the process of their study was implemented.

The presentation also includes a small tour of Viacheslav Korniienko, where you will see with your own eyes some epigraphic secrets, so sincerely left by our ancestors on the walls of the millennial shrine.
