We invite you to take part in the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Sophia Readings”, dedicated to the significant jubilee event – the 1010th anniversary of the founding of St. Sophia of Kyiv (1011 – 2021)
Date of the conference: September 30 – October 1, 2021
Venue: St. Sophia Museum of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv” (24 Volodymyrska Street, Kyiv, 01001)
The conference will cover issues of historical, architectural, source studies, cultural studies, art history, archeology, palaeography, monument protection, religious studies and other aspects of the study of Christian art monuments.
Travel, accommodation and meals are at the expense of the conference participants or the sending party.
Please submit an application for participation in the conference by June 1, 2021, indicating the topic of the report / message and information about the author according to the attached sample.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select reports for inclusion in the conference program. Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.
On the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific materials. The text of the article must be submitted by December 31, 2021. Materials for printing are accepted in Ukrainian and English. Texts up to 0.5 p/s, typeface – Times New Roman, size – 14, single-spaced in printed and electronic versions in Word (any version) or txt. Illustrations (up to 5 pcs.) – photos, graphics (ink, high-quality photocopier). Illustrations provided in electronic form must have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (for linear dimensions of at least 12 cm on the largest side). Captions to illustrations are given in a separate list at the end of the text.
References are made in semi-code – in square brackets: author’s name, year of publication, page, drawing number. Example:
[Baranov 1982, p. 275-279; Dombrovsky 1966, p. 10, fig. 1].
The list of references is provided at the end of the work in alphabetical order, for example:

Texts drawn up without complying with these requirements and submitted after the specified deadline will not be published. The Editorial Board reserves the right to select materials for the collection, taking into account the stated subject matter and compliance with the rules of their design.
