A meeting of the Scientific and Restoration Council was held

On October 1, 2019, a meeting of the Scientific and Restoration Council of the National conservation area “Sophia of Kyiv” was held. The agenda for the meeting was as follows:

• completed works on the restoration of the icon “The Last Supper” of the 18^th century in the apse of the St. Andrew’s Church and the wooden carved pulpit of the 18^th century in the interior of St. Andrew’s Church were accepted;
• The Restoration program of the wooden carved garland of the stairs of the pulpit of the 18^th century in the interior of St. Andrew’s Church was reviewed;
• The Restoration program for the icons of St. Andrew’s Church of the 18^th century was accepted: 3 icons – from the basement of the iconostasis (“Sacrament of Baptism, Anointing,” “Sacrament of Marriage, Holiness,” “Sacrament of Repentance, Holy Communion”) and 5 icons – from the iconostasis (“St. Andrew the Apostle”, “Jesus Christ”, “Mother of God”, “St. Naum”, “St. Peter”).
